Abstract

The medical industry, with its unique characteristics and inherent complexities, especially in times of war, often requires innovative approaches to resource allocation and procurement. Auction mechanisms, which are traditionally used in various industries, are gaining more and more importance in the field of health care. This study delves into the design and implementation of auctions in the Ukrainian healthcare sector, exploring their potential benefits, challenges, and implications for efficiency and equity. The results of the study contribute to the growth of knowledge about the theory of auctions and its practical application in the field of health care, offering valuable insights for medical professionals and other stakeholders involved in the allocation of resources in the Ukrainian health care system.
